The Scissorkicks
It all started on a cold February night earlier this year. I was talking with Nick my jam buddy and we decided to “get serious” and attempt an album. We didn’t know how we were going to do it but we agreed to give it a try… The writing sessions began and we gave ourselves a 6 week writing deadline. In April we decided to start the process of recording.
First the drums, then bass, then guitar and for the final steps vocals, tambourine and some light synths.
After we had everything recorded I started to organize the tracks and focus on design. I had the wordmark designed and organized a walk about with a fancy camera.
here are some of the pics from that day ↓

↓ Wife – “Ok, so maybe it’ll look cool if you lie down and make your legs look like scissors……hmmmm. Maybe don’t do that ever again.”

↓ Here we are pretending the poster is a bomb….Ahhhh!
